Sergio Schmukler is the Research Manager of Macroeconomics and Growth in the World Bank's Development Research Group. His research area is international finance and international financial markets and institutions.

Arthur Shaw is a Survey Specialist for the Living Standards Measurement Study (LSMS), the World Bank’s flagship household survey program housed in the Development Data Group. 

Forhad Shilpi is a Senior Economist in the Sustainability and Infrastructure Team of the Development Research Group. Her current research focuses on the impacts of infrastructure and communication on rural-urban transformation, the role of domestic market institutions in the transmission of international price signals, and intergenerational mobility in developing countries.

Gbemisola "Mimi" Oseni is a Program Manager for the Living Standards Measurement Study (LSMS), the World Bank’s flagship household survey program housed in the Development Data Group.

Benjamin P. Stewart is a Senior Geographer leading the Global Operational Support Team (GOST) in the Development Data Group in the World Bank’s Development Economics Department. 

Rubena Sukaj is a Senior Economist in the World Bank's Development Data Group. 

Daria Taglioni is Research Manager, Trade and International Integration, in the World Bank's Development Research Group. Since joining the World Bank Group in 2011, she has held various positions and roles, including Team-Task Lead for the World Development Report 2020, Principal Economist in the International Finance Corporation, and World Bank Global Lead on Global Value Chains.

Tea Trumbic is the Manager for the Women, Business and the Law project in the World Bank’s Development Economics vice-presidency. She leads a multidisciplinary team to produce data and analysis on laws and regulations that impact women’s economic inclusion.

Maria Vagliasindi is a Lead Economist with the World Bank's Infrastructure Practice Group. She leads analytical work and policy dialogue on energy and infrastructure reforms in several developing countries worldwide.

Renos Vakis serves as an advisor on strategy and operations for the Institute. He also leads the Institute’s impact analytics and AI integration where his efforts are focused on enhancing the effectiveness of knowledge diffusion. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. He brings these perspectives, as well as his skills in magic and music, to making the Institute's programming user-friendly and accessible. 

Giovanni Vecchi is professor of economics at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” and is a consultant to the World Bank on issues related to poverty and inequality measurement. 

Gabriel Stefanini Vicente serves as the Lead Data Scientist for the Development Data Partnership at the World Bank, spearheading initiatives to identify, access, and leverage alternative data for global development projects.
